A bold pre-launch marketing strategy that led to a full sell-out before construction began
Lackenroe is a thoughtfully designed residential development located in Glounthaune, Co. Cork. Offering a select number of architecturally designed homes in a highly desirable village setting. R.E.M. was appointed by developers Citidwell to create and execute a full suite of marketing materials to support an ambitious pre-construction launch.
Our work helped position the development confidently in the market and drive demand at an early stage with the entire scheme selling out before ground was broken.
We delivered a strategic, design-led marketing campaign that combined strong branding with digital activation and buyer-focused messaging.
We developed the Lackenroe brand to reflect the setting, tone and target market for the development. The name and visual identity were crafted to balance sophistication with a strong sense of place, helping to build trust and early interest in the homes.
The logo device draws direct inspiration from two key local features, the elegant curve of the Lacken Roe Bridge in Glounthaune and the distinct silhouette of an overhanging tree that lines the nearby landscape. These elements were brought together in a refined, gold-accented mark that communicates character, quality and connection to place.
A clean, high-impact brochure was produced for digital and print use. It combined architectural visuals, location highlights, specification details and site layout, giving prospective buyers a clear and compelling overview of what was on offer.
A responsive, lead-generating website was designed and built to showcase the homes, location and lifestyle associated with the development. The site served as the campaign’s central hub, with brochure downloads, CGIs and contact functionality built in.
We ran a highly targeted digital advertising campaign across Facebook and Instagram to build awareness, drive traffic to the website and generate qualified leads for the estate agent. The campaign delivered exceptional engagement and contributed directly to the full sell-out of the development prior to construction.
Outcome
The Lackenroe development achieved what few projects do — a complete sell-out before a single foundation was poured. Our branding, materials and digital strategy helped create early demand, build buyer confidence and ensure a seamless, successful launch.
